Mentioned in another thread but worthy of its own is this, Ok neighbourhood is important, but what ammenities do you deem to be MOST important well consdiering a purchase

 

1, Local hosptial

2, Good School

3, Local shops

4, Sports ammenities

5, public transport

6, transport links

 

Tell us what and why :-)

It all depend on your circumstances.  For example, if you have old folks at home, medical facilities are important.  If you do not own a car, transport facilities is a must.

For me the neighborhood is only a minor thing. Ammenities are not things I worry about as long as the neighborhood is peaceful and good for my kids. I'm more concerned with if there are areas where I can hunt and fish!

That is precisely the point.  Everyone has different need and wants and so priorities are different.  For me, I don't care a hoot about hunting playgrounds but am more cocnerned about mundane stuff like transport and schools :)
