The housing market is so bad right now, I'm wondering how to access information on homes that have been forclosed. Anyone know the best way to check out forclosed homes?

Hi Michelle
I'm not sure how the admin feels on this site about posting up links, but there is a great site out there which may help you
http://www.foreclosuredeals.com/buying_foreclosures.htm
I especially like the pros and cons, what do you reckon? |

Thanks for the link. It looks like a lot of helpful information can be found at that site. I'm not sure if I'll go down this road but it's worth checking into and asking my real estate agent as well.

Plenty of such information (fireyard sales, distress sales, auctions) are available online and offline. Good time to be a buyer!
Good luck. |

For this one must look for advertisements offered by the financial institutions or the banks. This definitely is a good idea,'cause one can get a much better deal.Hard spade work is required.
