What comprises an act of god, if you lost your roof in a storm is that an act of god? (Is it proof that god exists?)

Act of God is a legal invention that has nothing to do with religion :)

An act of God is usually unforseeable and uncontrollable; both factors will be considered in asssessing claims.  For example, if you have a sufficient warning about a storm and did not take precautionary action to protect house, you may have trouble claiming.

So as long as you take sensible precautions you should be ok in regards to your insurance compnay, I bet its the sort of thing though, they try to wriggle of the hook over, agree?

It does remind you of God but at the same time blowing off of the roof reminds me of Bernoulli's theorem I read somewhere in Physics.Want an explanation?
