What comprises an act of god, if you lost your roof in a storm is that an act of god? (Is it proof that god exists?)

Act of God is a legal invention that has nothing to do with religion :)
An act of God is usually unforseeable and uncontrollable; both factors will be considered in asssessing claims. For example, if you have a sufficient warning about a storm and did not take precautionary action to protect house, you may have trouble claiming. |

It does remind you of God but at the same time blowing off of the roof reminds me of Bernoulli's theorem I read somewhere in Physics.Want an explanation?
